Next Time

This is the end of my Blog (For now).

The story will continue soon...

... but for now, like the ol' folks would say:

Fare ye well!

Shylock's Attitude

I was getting that rude, ungrateful, former master of mine, Shylock, to the party. Ugh, how he treated Jessica that night was hurting my soul.

He also loved to to tease me, telling me I can't do things that I wasn't told to do.

He also was boastful too, saying he wasn't invited because of the fact he was respected a lot (Obviously, that wasn't true). Things weren't going well for him that time, why? Because he dreamt of bags of money.

UGH! I hate him so much!

But I still have to urge him to go, because Bassanio was expecting him. Oddly, he too was expecting Bassanio.

I tried to convince him that there will be no masquerade. But then he went crazy and said, "What? A masquerade?" and told Jessica to lock every opening in the house.

After that, he said he will come.

Poor Jessica, stuck in the house. I told her to look out for me, for I, am her jewel in her eye.

The Supper

During Bassanio's supper, I gave the letter to Lorenzo, thinking that he may find answers there.

I asked to be excused, so I could invite Shylock to the supper.

But before I wet out, Lorenzo gave me some money and asked me to tell Jessica that he will not fail her.

I wish I'd meet her again...

This night is the night I wouldn't forget....

After flirting with Jessica (My sweet future bride... heheh), she gave me a ducat and a secret letter for Lorenzo whom I will be meeting at Bassanio's supper.

I tried not to cry when we left each other, I really did...

A Failed Prank

Ah, my father, Gobbo.

When I saw him that night, I was annoyed that he didn't recognised me. Well, he is ALMOST blind. Because of that, I decided to play an ol'prank they used in the old days. The prank that people nowadays already knew. Yep, tricking people to the wrong info...

I tried to tell him random directions to the house, trick him to thinking I was a Master, and even saying that I was dead, but he managed to figure all of them were just wrong. I then tried to tell him that I was his son, but he didn't believe me until I allowed him to feel my head.

I then told him how cruel Shylock is. And that he should give the basket, which is actually a present, to Bassanio instead. He gives servants great uniforms!

And by luck, Bassanio comes. And we decided to talk to him. Me and Gobbo, mixed up saying the full story. After a few explanations, I asked him for a job, he accepted, and I'm going to work from him and not for that mean ol' Shylock!

Oh... and, I'll get some nice uniform too...

I seriously need to make up my mind.

Today was weird.

No, not because I feel guilty from running away from my Jewish Master (whom, acts like some devil.)

I am caught in between a fight between my conscience and the devil from hell. Devil says that I was good for running away from my Jewish master, but my conscience told me that it was wrong and that I should stay with my master.

A never ending battle, it was annoying. One telling me to keep running and the other to stay put.

Oh, and my father comes in with a basket.

Kinda weird, eh? Let's just see what happens next. Gah! Their words still haunt me though...

Welcome to my Blog

Oh heavens! My blog hasn't started. Let my mind be cleansed and ready for this blo...

Okay, okay, I'll stop the Shakespeare talk for a while. This is the future, English has evolved! Maybe I would use it later...

Let's not go into too much detail, this is my blog. And in this blog, I will write my past experiences and memories, in all Act 2 Scenes in the Merchant of Venice, by Shakespeare, all for thy... I mean... your reference...

(This is a blog for a school homework, it is no way made by a fictional character. All characters mentioned are by Shakespeare.)

Now! Let's begin....
